Wild prospect and recent first-round pick Zeev Buium, has been added to Team USA’s roster for the World Junior Summer Showcase.
The camp will be held at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan, from July 26-Aug. 3, and include practices and games against prospects from Canada, Sweden and Finland.
The event will help the teams begin their evaluations for the 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship, which will be held in Ottawa from Dec. 26-Jan 5, 2025.
Buium, 18, helped the U.S. win the gold medal at the 2024 World Juniors after he posted three goals, two assists, five points, and a tournament-best plus-11 rating.
He was drafted 12th overall by the Minnesota Wild after the team moved up from 13 to 12 in the draft to select him. Buium is one of two Wild prospects to be invited to WJSS.
