Love is Blind fan favorite Jessica “Jess” Vestal was looking for her husband on Season 2 of Netflix’s Perfect Match. Unfortunately, she fell for notorious f*ck boy Harry Jowsey and didn’t get her happily ever after. While her first two experiences on dating shows may have ended on a sour note, she shouldn’t give up hope. I think she would make a great lead on the ABC show The Bachelorette. She’s beautiful, confident, and knows what she wants. Jenn Tran’s season is set to premiere in July but I think Jess should be in the running for next season.
Here are all the reasons she would be a perfect Bachelorette.
Jessica Vestal is really looking for love
Jess is “here for the right reasons.” The Single Mom is looking for a real relationship not just a fling. If she was the Bachelorette, she would have her eye on the prize. I feel like getting fooled by Harry has sharpened her bullsh*t radar and she would be able to identify the men looking for brand deals, not love. Bachelor Nation is always complaining about how the show has become less authentic because of social media. Contestants now see the show as more of a career booster than a dating show. Jess has made it clear she wants to get married. While she’s not opposed to the monetary benefits of reality TV, it doesn’t seem to be her first priority.
Jessica Vestal has a great story
Fans fell in love with Jess’s story on Love Is Blind. In the pod phase of the show, she opened up to contestant Jimmy Presnell about her childhood and being a single mom. She explained that she didn’t have a great family life growing up and ended up getting pregnant in her senior year of high school. She’s overcome a lot in her life and handled it with grace. I think she would be an inspiring Bachelorette. Fans love a good story and she has one. Plus, single moms always make great Bachelorettes (cough, cough Emily Maynard).
She’s a catch
@jess.ves2 Its time, perfect match season 2 is officially here 🫣 #perfectmatchseason2 #perfectmatchnetflix #netflix #loveisblind
Jess is a total catch. First of all, she’s beautiful. We doubt producers will have any trouble finding a group of guys willing to date the Netflix star. Harry looked like he got hit by the bus the first time he saw her on Perfect Match. But looks aren’t everything and they aren’t everything to Jess. I mean, she was willing to get engaged to a man sight unseen on Love Is Blind, so clearly, she’s not a shallow person. I think that says a lot about her intentions. She’s kind, caring, and looking for a good partner.
Jessica makes great TV
@netflix Jessica’s speech is going down in #LoveIsBlind history.
There is no question Jess makes great TV. Fans may remember her best from her iconic goodbye speech to Jimmy on Love Is Blind. After Jimmy broke up with her, she let him know he missed out on a great girl.
“When you see and realize what you missed out on, you are going to choke,” she said. “You are going to need your EpiPen to open up your airways because you are going to be in disbelief of what you missed out on.”
Fans loved that she walked out with confidence and her head held high.
“Wow! Her speech was epic,” one fan wrote on Reddit.
“I thought she was hilarious! Good for her,” another fan chimed in.
Bachelor Nation loves it when Bachelorettes roast the men on their season. I don’t think there is a more celebrated moment than when Hannah Brown told off Luke P. on her season. If Jess was the Bachelorette, I predict she would put the men in their place.
She takes accountability
@accesshollywood Jess Vestal says she won’t be fooled by Harry Jowsey again 👀 #PerfectMatch
Fans love a lead that takes accountability for their actions. Jess never hesitates to own up to her mistakes. At the Love Is Blind reunion, she apologized to Chelsea Blackwell for making comments about her fiance’s appearance when they got back to North Carolina. More recently, she took accountability for giving Harry a second chance after the show. In an interview with Access Hollywood, she said, “Fool me once on the show, shame on you…Fool me twice, shame on me. I knew better.”
