Sherien explained that the argument escalated, prompting her to run outside and seek help. She then returned inside to retrieve her phone and discovered that Apollo had left. Sherien provided the police with surveillance footage of the incident, but it did not capture the physical altercation.
Apollo later returned to the house and spoke with the officers. He explained that during the argument, he tried to take Sherien’s phone from her. He described how she curled up on the ground to protect the phone, and he eventually succeeded in retrieving it.
Sherien ran outside to call for help, but Apollo followed her to return the phone. Despite the incident, Sherien declined medical assistance and showed no visible signs of physical harm. Apollo was subsequently arrested and charged with domestic violence and assault.
Apollo was taken to the nearby jail, where he was processed and released on a $3,000 bond shortly after being booked, according to jail records obtained by In Touch.

The March 2024 scandal involving Apollo and his second wife, Sherien, attracted significant attention due to rumors of an alleged affair. Surveillance footage from a Ring camera, obtained by the JasmineBrand, captured Apollo in intimate moments with an unidentified woman.
The unidentified woman was seen sitting closely beside Apollo as they engaged in conversation, and in a separate video, Apollo was shown entering the woman’s residence. The outlet did not disclose the identity of the woman in question.
The evidence against Apollo continued to mount as screenshots of his text messages to the woman were revealed. These messages clearly depicted a romantic relationship, with Apollo expressing his love for her and discussing the possibility of starting a family together.
In one message, Apollo affectionately referred to her as “baby” and in another, he spoke about their plans for the year 2024, hoping that it would be a “great” one for both of them. The texts left no room for doubt that Apollo was deeply involved with the woman in question.
“We’re going to have a baby, lol. I can see the reaction on your face right now. I’m just [busting] out laughing,” Apollo reportedly shared.
Apollo even mentioned going to his ex-wife Phaedra’s house to discuss their children. Despite the mounting evidence, neither Apollo nor Sherien has publicly addressed the footage or the alleged messages.
Why did Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida divorce?
Although Apollo has moved on from his past marriage to Phaedra, their bond endures due to their shared children and their time together on the reality show ‘RHOA.’ Their divorce was officially finalized in July 2017, as Apollo’s legal troubles became overwhelming for Phaedra, who is a lawyer specializing in entertainment law.
The divorce was finalized two years after Phaedra initially filed in 2015, following a setback when Apollo contested the settlement due to alleged errors in the legal documents. Despite their divorce, Phaedra and Apollo have managed to maintain a civil relationship for the sake of their children.
In a conversation with Sheree Whitfield on ‘RHOA’, Apollo expressed that Phaedra “had left him to basically rot” during his incarceration, a claim she vehemently denied. Phaedra revealed on ‘Watch What Happens Live’ that she and Apollo are successfully co-parenting their children and maintaining a respectful relationship.
She also mentioned being aware of Apollo’s new wife, although she has no plans to include her in her activities anytime soon. Talking of Sherien, Phaedra said, “I’ve definitely seen her. We don’t really chat, but I’ve seen her.”
