A mystery man crashes Jenn Tran’s season of Bachelorette in the next episode. For once, it’s not Blake Moynes, who notoriously crashed Katie Thurston’s season and wound up winning. So, who is it? Keep reading for more and to see Jenn’s reaction.
Mystery Man Crashes Bachelorette
A late entry into the Bachelor mansion is a staple at this point of the franchise. Of course, Jenn Tran and her remaining suitors aren’t at the usual mansion in California. The network chose a different location to film the first night and then jetted everyone off for overseas locations until hometown dates later on.
Despite not filming in the U.S., someone shows up in Melbourne, Australia, to convince Jenn Tran for another chance. The trailer for the next episode airing Monday, July 29, shows a mystery man approaching Jenn Tran as she’s hanging out solo on a pier.
Identity Revealed
The interloper teaser comes at the end of a promo already full of drama and adrenaline rushes. At one point, Jenn Tran rappels down the side of a huge building. She also confesses to falling in love with at least one suitor.
But the true drama seems to come when she’s blindsided by the arrival of someone from her past. All viewers see of the unidentified person is their shoes and shadow.
According to a Reddit thread, the mystery man is Matt Rossi. Jenn Tran dated him for a few months before she was on The Bachelor. She reportedly nicknamed her ex “wiener boy” because he always posts his dog on social media.
The Reddit intel likely comes from blogger Reality Steve.
Matt Rossi has a video on TikTok where his beloved dog Kirkland spills the tea about the breakup. The furry friend says that Matt Rossi and Jenn Tran broke up because Matt was a f*ckboy who wasn’t ready to settle down.

But it seems he might be ready now.
Jenn Tran’s Reaction
Jenn Tran does not seem happy to be ambushed by her ex. She storms away while asking nearby producers and camera crew what he’s doing there.
He’s reportedly there to ask for a second chance with Jenn Tran. Will she let him join the show as one of her suitors or is it too late for the former couple?
Tune in to ABC on Monday, July 29, to watch the unexpected encounter. But one savvy Bachelor Nation fan on Reddit speculated that the next episode will end on a cliffhanger and fans may not find out if he stays or goes until the following episode.
