Who has the most goals created per game with the Vegas Golden Knights?

The Vegas Golden Knights have had their share of productive offensive stars in their short history. Who’s created the most per game?

The Vegas Golden Knights have built a reputation on balanced scoring throughout their short history. Names like Jack Eichel, Mark Stone, and Jonathan Marchessault have been excellent for the team, scoring countless goals during their Golden Knights tenure. It’s led to numerous benefits, including a championship in 2023. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.

Although the team will look different from that memorable season, there are still some noteworthy faces on the squad. Stone will return for another season with Eichel. They’ll be accompanied by fan favorites such as “Original Misfits” William Karlsson and Shea Theodore. These players will bolster the offensive output for the Golden Knights in 2024-25.

But let’s commemorate those who’ve contributed to the Golden Knights scoring-wise first. The team has had some noteworthy names create highlight-reel goals during their Vegas hockey careers. That has simultaneously given fans more reason to adore such players, with superstars like Stone becoming the face of the franchise.

But has he created the most goals per game in franchise history? Or is it another prolific name like Eichel? Perhaps it’s an “Original Misfit,” Jonathan Marchessault, who holds the lion’s share of team records for the Golden Knights. Here’s a look at who’s the best at creating goals for his team.

Jack Eichel has the most goals created per game with the Vegas Golden Knights

Believe it or not, the race for most goals created per game was close. 0.02 goals separated two players and they’re not named Jonathan Marchessault or Mark Stone. Instead, it’s Jack Eichel on top with 0.38 goals created per game, followed by Max Pacioretty with 0.36. The name might be surprising to some, but the winger did have a productive Golden Knights career.

Mark Stone finished third with 0.34 goals created per game, while Jonathan Marchessault was fourth with 0.32. Tied for fifth were “Misfits” Reilly Smith and William Karlsson, who’ve created 0.28 goals per game. Sitting in seventh is Chandler Stephenson with 0.26, while Alex Tuch and Shea Theodore are tied for eighth with 0.22. Alex Pietrangelo finished 10th with 0.20 goals created per game.

The Vegas Golden Knights have built a reputation as a balanced offensive team. Carrying playmakers on every line has made them a threat in their seven years of existence. Heading into the eighth season, that looks to be the case again. Newer faces like Alexander Holtz and Tomas Hertl will play their first full season(s) with the team, bringing excitement to the club. Will they bring Thanos’s dream to reality on the Golden Knights? Stay tuned.
