Since its launch in 2020, many of these shows have been available for streaming on AMC+ in a limited capacity, but now, many more of them are coming to Netflix.

On X, formerly Twitter, Netflix announced that 13 AMC series are coming to the streaming service this summer. See the full list below:

AMC Series Have Had Much Success On Netflix

In the past, AMC shows have had much success on Netflix, especially Breaking Bad, considered the first show to experience the “Netflix effect.” In 2010, after its third season, Netflix obtained the streaming rights to Breaking Bad during a time when AMC was considering canceling the show. Once Breaking Bad was available for streaming before the fourth season premiered, it significantly increased its audience on AMC as new viewers binged the previous episodes on Netflix, ultimately doubling its viewership by the fifth season.

Breaking Bad is still streaming on Netflix.

The Walking Dead is another AMC series that has had much success on Netflix and now, subscribers will have the chance to catch up on other shows set in the shared universe. Fear the Walking Dead, which aired from 2015 to 2023 for eight seasons, was the franchise’s first spinoff, following a different set of characters on the West Coast. Daryl Dixon, premiered in 2023, follows the titular crossbow-wielding character after the events of the original series. With the first season coming to Netflix, subscribers can catch up on the series before Daryl Dixon season 2 premieres on September 29.

Besides The Walking Dead, another one of AMC’s shared universes is coming to Netflix. Interview with the Vampire and Mayfair Witches are both part of AMC’s Immortal Universe, a shared universe based on Anne Rice’s novels, with a third series focused on the Talamasca secret society also in development. With a total of 13 shows coming to the streaming service, AMC series should continue to thrive on Netflix for the foreseeable future.
