Getting filmed on television can definitely be a one-time type of thing but for the ‘Teen Mom’ stars, it’s a lifestyle.
Not only do they expose their private lives on television, but they also film their children’s lives as well.
Not that it’s a bad thing, it’s actually quite the opposite.
Maci’s son Bentley
Maci started filming ‘Teen Mom’ from a very early age. After giving birth to Bentley, the fans had an opportunity to watch him grow up with each new season of the show.
What the fans didn’t know is that besides his mother who gets paid to appear on ‘Teen Mom: OG’, Bentley also gets compensated for his appearances.
The funs are apparently set up in a way that’s going to benefit him into the future, with him potentially making up to $100,000 thus far.
Chelsea’s daughter Aubree
Chelsea and Aubree were one of the most prominent mom-daughter duos on the show. Ever since they started shooting for ‘Teen Mom 2’, the fans have beloved them from day one.
Aubree’s father Adam Lind once revealed that his daughter made more than $50,000 from the appearances she makes.
Chelsea’s father Randy chimed in on Twitter and said the following: “It is supposed to be set up so parents cannot access it.”
Kailyn’s boys
When Kailyn was first introduced to the show, she was pregnant with her first son Isaac. After a while, she got pregnant with her second child Lincoln and so the road continued.
Kailyn’s eldest son Isaac has the most appearances out of the bunch and is likely to have made the most money thus far.
Considering how the whole family of five is now filming for the show, it’s likely that MTV is compensating all the kids at around $10,000 per season.
Catelynn’s daughters
Catelynn and her husband Tyler once opened up about the salaries their kids are receiving thanks to being a part of the show.
“As far as [the kids] getting compensated for the show, my kids are totally set, they’re totally set up for life,” Tyler revealed in a podcast.
Their eldest daughter Novalee has been shooting for multiple seasons and by now she likely grossed more than $100,000 in earnings.
Amber’s daughter Leah
Amber and her daughter Leah have been on ‘Teen Mom: OG’ for several seasons now. It’s likely that MTV has to pay Amber’s daughter a fee for her appearances and it doesn’t come cheap.
Judging by the number of seasons she’s been on the show, the girl must have earned over $50,000 so far.
