BRAVO’S The Valley has shattered the network’s record with its premiere ratings, but fans have issues with Jax Taylor’s show.
After its premiere in mid-March, viewers continued to flock in droves to watch the Vanderpump Rules spinoff.
The Valley – which stars three former VPR cast members: Jax Taylor, 44, his estranged wife Brittany Cartwright, 34, and Kristen Doute, 40 – became Bravo’s most-watched series premiere in nearly 10 years, according to Deadline.
After seven days on the streaming Peacock service, up to nearly three million viewers tuned in for the premiere.
With streaming playing a major part in the audience metrics, The installment garnered 2.8 million viewers.
With Peacock responsible for half of the total seven-day viewership, the Valley ranked as the top series premiere in the platform’s history.

THE SPLIT
Before the premiere of their Bravo show, Jax and Brittany announced they were officially parting ways at the end of February.
During their joint podcast, When Reality Hits, Brittany revealed their marital woes to the fans.
“Many of you guys have been asking me about Jax and I and our relationship,” the 35-year-old podcast host revealed.
“I just think it’s important to be real and honest with you guys because we’ve shared so much of our lives with you guys.”
“Yes, marriages in general are very hard and I’ve had a particularly rough year this past year,” she continued.
“Jax and I are taking time apart and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health,” she added.
“I’m taking one day at a time,” she concluded.
“I don’t know what the future holds, but right now my focus is on being the best mom to Cruz.”
