The Bachelorette season 21 has begun filming, and star Jenn Tran spent one of her one-on-one dates at Seattle’s iconic Pike Place Market. Jenn, a 26-year-old physician assistant student from Hillsdale, New Jersey, who’s currently living in Miami, Florida, got her start in Joey Graziadei’s Bachelor season. Jenn made it to Joey’s final six women before he eliminated her right before his hometown dates. Although Jenn was heartbroken, she’s now excited to continue her journey to find love during The Bachelorette season 21.
“In a date you knew they’d do in Seattle, they went to Pike Place Market and threw the fish around.”
In an X post, Reality Steve gave the scoop on one of Jenn’s one-on-one dates that took place in Seattle, Washington, at the famous Pike Place Market.
Jenn chose Jeremy Simon, a 29-year-old from Fairfield, Connecticut, to spend the date with her. Reality Steve wrote, “In a date you knew they’d do in Seattle, they went to Pike Place Market and threw the fish around.” At Pike Place Fish Market, it’s a tradition for employees to throw fish to each other across the market, even when they’re quite large, rather than passing them to each other by hand. They also yell and chant as they throw the fish.

Jenn Tran’s One-On-One Date Continued At Night
On the Reality Steve podcast, the Bachelor spoilers blogger revealed that for the nighttime portion of the date, the original plan was for Jenn and Jeremy to head to Chihuly Garden and Glass, which is next to the Space Needle. Chihuly Garden and Glass is an exhibit in the Seattle Center that showcases the studio glass of Dale Chihuly. However, Reality Steve said that the location of the date could be changed.
So far, Jenn’s Bachelorette season seems to be very exciting. Not only is it not filming at the Bachelor Mansion, but it’s going to have some international locations. Jenn also had another one-on-one date in Seattle, during which she and suitor Marcus Shoberg, a 31-year-old from Raleigh, North Carolina, participated in a Wicked/Wizard Of Oz-themed date. It featured Bachelor Nation alums Kelsey Anderson and Daisy Kent, who were Joey’s winner and runner-up, along with Charity Lawson and Trista Rehn.
Jenn is not only ready to find her person in her own season of The Bachelorette, but she’s breaking ground as the first-ever Asian American lead in the Bachelor franchise. Jenn has said that representing her culture is very important to her, so it’s wonderful that she has this opportunity. It’ll also be thrilling to see if Jenn forms a lasting connection with either Jeremy or Marcus or another suitor. Jenn is a fun-loving person who’s open to finding love, so she was the perfect choice to star in The Bachelorette season 21.
