It is always interesting when a Real Housewives star decides to develop a moral fiber. But when Teresa Giudice started spouting on about an end to the Season 14 toxicity, I perked up. For years, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star has been the one holding the ladle, stirring the pot. Teresa has done a lot of things through her 14 years on Bravo, and most of them were questionable acts.
I find it laughable that Tre has now started to share that her co-stars are against her; they are coming for her family, and everyone wants to destroy her happiness. In my opinion, three things in the world deserve no mercy: hypocrisy, fraud, and tyranny. And hasn’t Teresa committed all three?
Teresa Giudice sets her sights on Danielle Staub
Season 2 showed Teresa raging against the foe, Danielle Staub. The mother of four had already called her a “prostitution whore” and flipped a full Italian feast over. But for Teresa, that wasn’t enough. She wanted Danielle to shake in her faux Christian Louboutin pumps. The scene itself was quite horrendous. The OG started strong, claiming she was the “sweetest, nicest person.” When Danielle dared to balk at the sentiment, Tre pounced, asking, “Is b*tch better?” Then she proceeded to physically chase the mother of two around the New Jersey Country Club like animals.
Teresa Giudice instigated the assault on Margaret Josephs
Margaret Josephs has been on the OG’s radar for seasons now. But no one ever thought she would enlist Danielle to do her dirty work. RHONJ viewers watched during Season 10 as Marge was ambushed while shopping. It was later revealed that Tre played a big part in the attack when Danielle ratted her out. While talking to Melissa Gorga, Beverly Danielle revealed she didn’t plan that attack, but Tre and designer Steven Dann “influenced” her.
During the season finale, Teresa was confronted about her part in the hair pull. It was obvious she was cornered, so she did what she does best. She freaked out, poured her drink on the cameraman, and stormed off.
Teresa Giudice brought up Evan Goldschneider’s cheating rumor
Teresa has a way of digging up information that usually never existed. Ever since trying to set Melissa up as a stripper, it’s been hard to trust the OG’s word. But she took her rumor mill tactics to a whole new level when she repeated baseless rumors about Evan Goldschneider cheating at his own birthday party.
Jackie Goldschneider was having none of it. She stood up for her husband, telling Tre, “Evan is the best guy in the world. My marriage is beautiful. My family is beautiful. This weekend, you took his name and what’s most important to him in the world — being a great husband and father — and you sh*t all over it. And you did it to all of our friends at his birthday party. I don’t know if you made it up, or if someone really told you, but you need to admit that whoever told you this doesn’t know me and Evan gave you no evidence of anything. Like, you have to admit this was a lie. You have to do the right thing.” Tre never did.
Teresa Giudice is a convicted felon
The irony wasn’t lost on most fans when Teresa had the audacity to bring up John Fuda’s past. Umm, hello. Have you looked in a mirror, Tre? She spent almost a year in jail for bank, mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud. It is laughable that a convicted felon tried to use someone else’s past crimes against them. In 2008, a then 21-year-old John was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while in possession of a narcotic. John was never convicted, and the charges were dismissed.
Teresa Giudice says children should steer clear of the drama
The OG of the Real Housewives of New Jersey has always maintained that her costars’ children should stay out of the drama. Yet, time and time again, I see Gia Giudice insert herself into the conversations. Honestly, it’s annoying and no one asked for this! Tre’s eldest daughter has been privy to many adult conversations, including last week’s Big Marge reveal. Perhaps the worst moment for Gia was how she spoke to Joe Gorga in Season 13. She was rude and pretentious.
Teresa has a long history of blurring the line. She is a perfect example of what is good for the goose is good for the gander. While she will never admit to being hypocritical, fans see it, and Bravo cameras catch it.
Real Housewives of New Jersey can be streamed on Peacock.
