The RHONJ mom is convinced her fellow ‘Wives aren’t pleased with Gia’s involvement in Season 14: “She’s an adult.”
Teresa Giudice is not only a dedicated and loving mother, she’s also a protective one.
In the latest episode of Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom spoke about her family’s involvement with the show and why some of her daughters are featured more frequently than others. Teresa Giudice defends Gia’s involvement in RHONJ: “She’s not a kid”
“I feel like Gia is, like, coming into her own on the show,” host Kelly Ripa said in the July 30 episode.
Teresa agreed and said she would “love” if Gia was more prominent on RHONJ, but knows that it would upset some of her castmates.
“I mean, she has grown up on the show,” Teresa said. “I mean, some people get jealous on the show that she’s around, like some of my cast members. And it’s like, who cares? And they call her a kid. And she’s not a kid. She’s 23. She’s an adult.”
Why was Gia Giudice brought up in the Teresa vs. John Fuda drama?
In Season 14, Episode 7, John Fuda mentioned Gia’s name when trying to defend himself against Teresa’s “drug dealer” comments. John — husband of RHONJ’s Rachel Fuda — admitted he got “in trouble for selling a little bit of marijuana” when he was 17 years old but has since learned from his mistakes.
