Teresa Giudice is not known for being a patient woman. The Real Housewives of New Jersey OG is a well-documented hothead. But when it came to the courtship of her now-husband Luis Ruelas, Tre played the long game.
The couple has been married for two years now but revealed what the early months of their relationship looked like. And it didn’t involve the bedroom.

On an episode of Tre’s podcast Turning The Tables, she and Luis got candid about their decision to take things slow.
“When you and I first met and we spent a lot of time bonding, we didn’t get right into sex right away,” Luis began.
“That wasn’t our thing,” he explained. “We waited a long time, which is so good and healthy for us. And I don’t know if people even know that, but we waited probably four or five months before we even rounded second base.”
Despite wanting to “be intimate with each other,” the couple noted that it was about the “journey” and not the “destination.”
Luis added, “We also had fun with it by not being intimate, knowing that we could be intimate and holding back and allowing ourselves to stay in that space where we can talk more, understand more, vibe together better and more, learn more about each other.”
“I really got to understand the relationship,” the veneer-loving businessman went on to say. “And I really got to understand who you really were, where you really came from your values, that you learned from your parents, that you’ve carried over into our new life together.”
They also slept in separate beds

Another thing the pair took slow? Sleeping in the same bed. How….old school, I guess.
“We moved in probably 11 months after or 10 months after we bought the house, and we started we started our life here,” Tre noted. To which Luis chimed in, “That’s when we started sleeping [in the same bed].”
The two met in 2020 at the Jersey Shore and were engaged in October of 2021. They married in front of Bravo cameras on August 6th, 2022.
