TEEN Mom: The Next Chapter stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are in danger of foreclosure on the $450,000 Michigan house they currently have on the market.
Catelynn, 32, and Tyler, 32, listed their former family home for $454,900 in September 2023 before dropping the price down to $449,900 in December of that same year.
The house has remained on the market nearly a year later, as the couple finds themselves in financial trouble.
The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal a Certificate of Forfeiture of Real Property was filed in March 2024 by a Michigan Register of Deeds Office.
“On March 1, 2024, the following real property was forfeited to the Sanilac County Treasurer for non-payment of property taxes for the year 2022.
“If the 2022 taxes are not paid by March 31, 2025, absolute title to the property and any equity associated with an interest in the property will vest in the foreclosing governmental unit.”
The amount of taxes due is $5,007.72.
The home could go into foreclosure if the couple does not pay the amount by the date listed in court documents.
There is no judgment filed with the Register of Deeds Office, The U.S. Sun could confirm.
HOME SWEET HOME
Catelynn and Tyler purchased the house in May 2017 for $220,000.
The house is historic, as it was built in 1869 by Great Lakes Sea Captain George W. Smith.

According to the Realtor listing, while the home has modern updates, the historical integrity of the property has been preserved.
The stunning abode, which sits on 15 acres of land, is known for its unique octagon shape.
MOVING ON?
Catelynn and Tyler now live in a $435,000 four-bedroom, four-bathroom mansion that they moved into in January 2023.
According to property records, the house is 4,296 square feet and sits on six acres of land, featuring a barn, cabin and pond.
MONEY ISSUES
This isn’t the first time Catelynn and Tyler have had apparent financial trouble.
The MTV stars were hit with a federal tax lien on December 16, 2019, for $321,789.06.
The lien for the 2018 year was paid off in early 2023.
Catelynn and Tyler were also hit with a federal tax lien for $535,010.97 for 2016 and 2017, which was paid off in 2021.

Catelynn and Tyler are parents to daughters Novalee, Vaeda and Rya.
They placed their eldest daughter, Carly, for adoption in 2009 on 16 and Pregnant.
