Teen Mom star Amber Portwood’s vicious texts to her teenage daughter, Leah have been exposed. Recently, Amber’s ex-fiance and first baby daddy, Gary Shirley shared Leah wanted to be adopted by his wife, Kristina. Though Amber claimed she had been trying, the texts prove otherwise. So, what exactly did they say? Keep reading for more details.
Teen Mom Amber Portwood’s Vicious Leah Texts Exposed
Amber Portwood has not been present for her firstborn, Leah so the responsibility has fallen heavily on Gary Shirley. The two were together when Amber was pregnant with Leah, even getting engaged but it all fell apart. Amber had mental health issues while being overly aggressive. She was even caught on tape assaulting her second baby daddy, Andrew Glennon. Now, she is back in Leah’s life and attended Leah’s birthday, albeit late. She treated her horribly, calling her a “d*ck” and it made Leah want to distance herself from her mother.
On a recent Teen Mom guys’ trip, the men were opening up about a variety of things. Gary shared how Amber never made an effort and Leah needs someone who is constantly there for her. That would be his wife Kristina who Leah wants to adopt her. It has not been discussed with Amber as they want Leah to think some more. However, Gary had been encouraging Amber to keep reaching out to Leah no matter how much the teen pushed back. Now, the text Amber sent to Leah has been revealed and it is vicious, to say the least.
More so, Amber Portwood took no accountability for her shortcomings and blamed everyone else for not seeing Leah. Furthermore, she claimed that she was a “loving mother” and said she fights for time with Leah. Finally, she added that she is treated like she beat Leah up but still gets nothing from her daughter. Therefore, she is done with trying and has essentially given up not realizing she could lose custody.
Fans Are Not Here For It
After Teen Mom fans saw what Amber Portwood texted, they were over her and her antics. Immediately, they rushed to the @teenmomfanz comment section to have their say:
- Dude, you didn’t physically abuse her. You mentally abused her. You made her think she wasn’t good enough. Yet you kept choosing men over and over again
- Why does she think she’s the victim??!
- The problem is, Amber things Leah owes her something. And Leah doesn’t.
No one was happy with Amber’s text and seemed to see why Leah did not respond and would continue to ignore her mother, even blocking her. Hopefully, Leah will make a decision as to what is best for her mental health and for herself.
