Teen Mom Amber Portwood Shows Self-Love Amid Leah Drama
Amber Portwood is going through a lot both on and off of Teen Mom. Currently, viewers have seen her first baby daddy, Gary Shirley spill the tea that their daughter, Leah wants to be adopted by her stepmother, Kristina. Though Amber maintains that she has tried very hard to connect with Leah, nothing has come of it. Leah does not care to speak with her mother or really have much of a relationship with her. Plus, Kristina has been the one who is consistently there for all of Leah’s needs. Yet, Gary is trying not to rush anything as he wants Leah to think about this before making big decisions.
As for Amber, she thinks she has been doing her best but Gary has been encouraging her to not stop trying no matter what. She is also in a relationship with Gary Wayt, and she is doing her best not to mess it up. However, off camera, Gary and Amber got engaged but within no time at all, he went missing. She pleaded for his safe return and maintained she had done nothing wrong. He was found and they split up so it has not been an easy time for Amber. Despite all of this, she has been taking steps to improve herself.
According to @teenmomfanz, Amber Portwood is down twenty-six pounds. She is apparently on a weight loss journey which is an amazing thing to hear. It shows she is focusing on herself and showing self-love despite all of the drama surrounding her. So, what do her followers think of this? They had mixed feelings.
Wrong Priorities
Although it was a great thing that Amber Portwood had dropped twenty-six pounds, Teen Mom followers felt that she was focusing on the wrong things in her life:
- Worried about her weight and not her kid. Idk how yall promote her at all.
- Has she lost her terrible attitude yet?
- Imagine being more committed to lose weight than to have a relationship with your kids
- She needs to get off a weight loss journey and jump on the motherhood journey. Her priorities are a** backwards
Despite the hard work, fans feel Amber needs to invest more time in being a mother and less at the gym. Until then, they are not going to support her transformation.
