Major DC cameos are getting teased for Superman & Lois season 4, with The CW drama set to return this fall for its final season. After having comic book TV shows on their network since 2006, The CW’s time with superheroes will be coming to an end this fall with the return of Superman & Lois. Superman & Lois season 4 was renewed for ten final episodes, and the show is only three months away from its final season premiere, meaning its finale is now far too far away from release.

In an interview with IGN, the outlet asked if there may be cameos from other universes in Superman & Lois season 4. While they didn’t reveal specifics, Lois Lane actor Elizabeth Tulloch teased a surprise cameo in the Superman & Lois series finale, while co-showrunner Todd Helbing added that there are actually more, stating the following:

Could There Be Arrowverse Cameos In Superman & Lois Season 4?

Ever since the end of Superman & Lois season 2, the show’s placement in the Arrowverse has been tricky, as the series was confirmed to take place on another Earth. However, given that Superman & Lois still uses actors from the other Arrowverse for other characters like John Diggle and Lucy Lane, along with Clark Kent and Lois Lane themselves, Superman & Lois is still Arrowverse-adjacent. The Flash’sTom Cavanagh will even appear in Superman & Lois season 4 as a new character, emphasizing the multiverse point once again.

That leaves the door wide open for Arrowverse actors to pop up in Superman & Lois season 4, even if it would be as doppelgängers to their Earth-Prime counterparts. Seeing someone like Melissa Benoist appear as this Earth’s Kara Zor-El, even for one scene, would be a nice way to properly answer where characters like Supergirl are at in this universe. It also wouldn’t be shocking if David Ramsey comes back one last time as Diggle, giving an update on what is going on with him in this continuity.

Since they established that there aren’t other superpowered heroes in the world of Superman & Lois, it would be hard to get Grant Gustin as The Flash unless this Earth’s Barry Allen got his powers very recently. The other option for a Gustin cameo is if the Earth-Prime version were to crossover from his world into the Superman & Lois universe. But for now, the world will have to wait and see what cameos are in store in Superman & Lois season 4.
