Paige DeSorbo reacted to Danielle Olivera suggesting she gives “nothing” to Craig Conover after the latest episode of Summer House.
After Danielle, 35, suggested that Paige, 31, was leading the 35-year-old Southern Charm cast member on, Paige clapped back at Danielle, saying that she doesn’t know anything and insisting she’s done a lot for Craig’s self-esteem and looks, as Danielle attempted to explain her reasoning and Amanda Batula, 32, shaded her as “harsh.”
“I have so many thoughts and concerns and things I wanna say,” Paige began on the April 18 episode of the Summer House: After Show.
Looking back on a conversation he had with Craig about his future with Paige, Kyle Cooke, 41, who was part of the discussion with Danielle and Paige, said he was caught off-guard at how up in the air things were between them.
“I know when he opened up to me, I was a little thrown off because I thought there was some sort of timeline,” he admitted. “I had a chance to talk to Paige about it and that conversation got cut a little short because Danielle just kind of [interrupted].”
During Thursday’s episode of Summer House, Danielle not only accused Paige of giving nothing to Craig but also of having his balls on a mantle.
“To tell someone they’re giving nothing, it’s a little harsh,” Amanda said in response. “I think she’s really proud of where she is and what she’s done and what she’s built. She doesn’t want to have to depend on Craig’s paycheck or money towards rent.”
In her own segment, Danielle explained that her comments were made because she felt Craig was “way more sensitive” than Paige.
“For example, she would say, ‘I’m looking for a new apartment,’ and she’ll shoot down looking at places together or having his input. She’s like, ‘It’s my place.’ It just seems like she shoots him down if he wants to be part of something and feels like it’s them doing something together,” she shared, adding, “Give him a room or like a section.”
While Danielle seemed to be concerned for Craig’s feelings, Paige said Danielle didn’t know enough about their relationship to weigh in.
“If Amanda and Ciara came up to me and said, ‘Hey, we think you give Craig nothing,’ I’d probably think about it and evaluate it. But when Danielle said it, I was like, ’Wait, have you met Craig?’ Genuinely, in my head, I was like, ‘I don’t know if you’ve ever hung out with Craig more than twice,’” she stated. “I know how much I do for Craig and I could literally write a book on it so I just kind of like, ate it in that moment. I kind of brushed it off because I was like ‘I don’t think you know anything about literally anything, but that’s your own journey.”
After hearing what her castmate had to say, Ciara Miller, 28, suggested Danielle simply wanted her to “be more endearing” when she spoke about Craig.
“But that’s also just not my personality,” Paige replied. “I’m not your mom. I’m not gonna tell you everything you do is perfect because it’s probably not. And I’m gonna say what I feel and I expect the same thing from my partner.”
Paige also shared how much she’s done for Craig since they began dating in 2021.
“I know in my heart and head how much I’ve done for Craig in terms of his self-esteem, in terms of his health — I mean, I changed his hair and he looks phenomenal,” she noted. “So, I didn’t really take that much offense to it, not like the actual words she said because I knew she didn’t know what she was talking about. So, I wasn’t even offended by that. I was offended at the audacity.”
Danielle then noted that Paige likely reacted to her comments the way she did because they didn’t have the best relationship at the time.
“Paige and I don’t have the relationship where she thinks that my intentions are necessarily the greatest I suppose and maybe that’s why she took it like ‘What the hell?’” she suspected.
Meanwhile, Paige shaded Danielle as “one-sided” and “very selfish” for dishing it out but not wanting to take it.
“Danielle is the type of person that kind of prides herself and being like honest and ‘I say what I feel.’ But when you try to reciprocate that to her, she wants none of it,” she noted.
