Ciara Miller appeared on Thursday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she addressed a number of questions about her Summer House season eight flame, West Wilson.
While also sharing her thoughts on Jesse Solomon‘s ability to commit, Lindsay Hubbard, 37, and Carl Radke‘s career feud, and Craig Conover‘s lack of a proposal to Paige DeSorbo, 31, Ciara, 28, revealed if West’s age and employment status was a factor in her wanting to take things slow and reacted to his recent Instagram connection with Austen Kroll, 36.
“This Bravo world, everyone’s all connected. I can never just have something to myself,” Ciara shared on the April 18 episode of WWHL after being asked about West, 29, and Austen following one another.
She was then asked if West’s unemployment and age were an issue amid season eight.
“There was a moment where I was like, Lindsay’s having this conversation, I’m like, ‘Do I need to be having this conversation?’ But he was actively looking for a job,” Ciara explained. “I will say his age was definitely one of those things where I was like, ‘I haven’t dated a guy that young for a very long time.’ It was an area of concern but I let him know that. [He’s 29] but I’m 28 and everyone loves to remind me, ‘You’re younger than him.’ And I was like, ‘In guy years, that doesn’t matter.’ I want to date older. But honestly, it depends on the person … But he got a job. He did good.”
As her relationship status with West remains a mystery, Ciara shared her thoughts on whether Jesse was ready for a serious relationship after a fan asked her who from the Bravo world he’d make a good match with.
“He’s not ready … Jesse’s gotta grow up. I’m not gonna put that on anyone right now. But I love him,” she clarified.
Looking back at Thursday night’s Summer House, Ciara admitted she was not “surprised” by Lindsay and Carl’s tense conversation about his career — or lack thereof.
“It’s not crazy to ask someone to get a job. Usually, I date men with jobs,” she noted.
“I feel like I knew why they didn’t get married but I will say, it’s really nice, I feel like since the girls were getting along so much this summer, we heard a lot of Lindsay’s side so it’s really kind of nice to see Carl’s rebuttal in everything,” she continued.
Of her own relationship with Lindsay, Ciara confirmed they have “no issues” after a fan wanted to know when they last texted.
“I still think our last text was about the dinner at the house. I’m not a big texter … But we’re fine. We’re good,” she shared.
According to Ciara, she was “not surprised” to see how much fans appreciated West and his humor. In fact, that’s what first attracted her to him.
“I love a funny guy. I just like to laugh and have a good time,” she admitted.
Continuing on, Ciara said that when it came to helping West in the kitchen on their first night in the house, she offered him a hand because she “felt bad” and knew Paige and Amanda Batula, 32, weren’t going to make themselves available.
As she answered a series of rapid-fire questions about West, Ciara said West is “a texter and not a caller,” stating that “he needs to be a caller” before applauding him for being “good with detail.”
She also said that him asking her friends about her was both endearing and annoying.
“I feel like, initiate the conversation with me too,” she explained. “He asked the right people but it’s like, what are you really worried about?”
Ciara even addressed her recent visit to West’s hometown in Missouri.
“I had a great time. His parents are amazing. His mom is so freaking smart and beautiful and his dad’s hilarious. He showed me how to ride horses and everything,” she gushed.
Also on Thursday night, amid the WWHL: After Show, Ciara was asked why Craig hadn’t proposed to Paige.
“I just feel like she’s kind of like figuring out her career stuff and Craig will move when she’s ready, [so] he just needs to sit tight,” Ciara replied, adding, “They’re fine.”
She then revealed what she was thinking when Jesse confronted her about not sleeping with West.
“I’m not worried about him at all,” she confirmed.
