Southern Charm recurring cast member Paige DeSorbo is not ready for a commitment just yet. Though she and full-time star, Craig Conover have been going strong for some time, it is not enough for her. So, what did the NYC-based reality star have to say about their future? Read on for more details.

Southern Charm Paige Not Ready For Craig Commitment

Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover are trying to make their long-distance love work. He is based in Charleston while she is located in New York City. Furthermore, he is actively working on his dream home which he would love to have for him and Paige along with children. Yet, she looks at it as a place to tan and enjoy life. At the end of the Season 9 Southern Charm premiere, Taylor Ann Green threw out allegations that Paige had cheated. Of course, Craig had to combat that but the big question is when will Paige move to Charleston, if ever?

According to Heavy, Paige DeSorbo may love Craig but not be ready to take the next step. She opened up to E! News and shared her feelings about not wanting to move forward. “I think because we’re on reality TV and people watch us like every so often, every couple of months they’re like, ‘Oh, it’s been a couple years, where I’m like ‘No, no, it’s still been the same year.’ So we’ve only been dating for two years and I still like my life the way it is,” she explained.

Though she is not ready for an engagement or a baby just yet, she would like to get engaged to the Southern Charm star at some point. “I do eventually want a ring, but not right now. I just — I’m turning 31, and I like my life the way it is.” So, it seems that she is stuck in her ways and they will have to take baby steps to get to where they want to be. This means that Craig has more time to gossip.

Gossip Boys

With Paige away, the boys won’t necessarily play but rather gossip. Season 9 of Southern Charm has been all about trying to figure out if Austen Kroll and Taylor Ann Green hooked up. This would have been after Shep Rose cheated on her and they parted ways as well as Austen’s split from Olivia Rose. Newcomer JT likes to stir the pot and, in the most recent episode, the guys went to Whit’s house to grill Austen. She just wants a straight answer but it seems like that won’t happen. So, until Paige officially moves to Charleston, Craig will be immersed in some detective work.
