The Washington Commanders were on the field for Day 3 of training camp in Ashburn, ahead of their first off day. Washington has Saturday off, returning Sunday with fans in attendance for the first time.

It was another good day of work for rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels. However, according to JP Finlay of 106.7 The Fan, Daniels had his first interception of training camp when veteran cornerback Michael Davis picked him off.

Arguably, Friday’s play of the day belonged to fellow rookie quarterback Sam Hartman, who found veteran wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus along the sideline for a big gain. Zaccheaus was heavily covered on the play.
