Sam McKinney went from a fan-favorite to a walking red flag in the blink of an eye. The drama from Season 21 of The Bachelorette spilled over from the screen to social media when the contestant’s family made a threat to expose the truth about Jenn Tran. Keep reading for all the details.
Things Go Sour Between Jenn Tran & Sam McKinney In Next Episode?
Jenn Tran and Sam McKinney hit it off immediately during the introduction on the Season 21 premiere. His charm and jokes earned him the coveted First Impression Rose and a steamy kiss. However, it seems the bloom might be falling off the rose in the next episode.
The show posted a preview of Monday’s episode, which features a one-on-one date between Sam M. and Jenn. The date seemed to start off well but quickly went off the rails when he made a stunning decision without consulting her. Sam M. decided that they would jump off a building instead of staying on solid ground.
Jenn Tran told the camera that she wasn’t happy he took the choice away from her. When it came time to jump, she was clearly stressed out but he didn’t offer any comfort at all.
Bachelorette Contestant Blasts Editing
Sam McKinney has come under fire from viewers for his behavior in the last few episodes. From aggressively man-handling Jenn to bullying Sam N., his antics leave a lot to be desired. But are viewers seeing the real Sam M.?
Probably not. But not much annoys fans more than a reality TV star chalking their bad behavior up to bad editing by the show. But that seems to be the defense Sam M. is using and he’s involved his family and friends in defending his reputation.
Some of his family members commented on the ABC Instagram post alluding to there being more to the story or the show editing scenes to make Sam M. look bad. The Bachelorette contestant left a comment of emojis that translate to “smoke and mirrors.” In another comment, he seemed to break his NDA and reveal his future on the show.
Sam M.’s Family Threatens To Expose Truth About Jenn Tran
Sam M.’s friends and family didn’t stop at simply defending their loved one. One comment threatened to expose Jenn Tran.
“Wait till we start posting what really really was going on with this show, even what happened with Jenn last season.”
According to a Reddit user, the comment was posted by Sam M.’s brother-in-law. The comment was clearly referring to Jenn Tran’s time on Joey Graziadei’s season of The Bachelor, but what it meant is anyone’s guess.
