As it turns out, life is a cabaret for these chums after years of bad blood.
The Real Housewives of New York City alumni Bethenny Frankel and Luann de Lesseps reunited over the Fourth of July weekend at a party in the Hamptons. The two shared a selfie with Bethenny’s daughter Bryn, 14, as well as a pic of the three with actress Emma Roberts at the bash.
“Bougie Hamptons party by day… tonight it’s a cabaret…” Bethenny, 53, wrote on Instagram July 7. “Hell hath frozen over and I am being cool and not uncool…”
On her page, Luann, 59, captioned the pics, “I guess life IS a CABARET, my friends! Get your tickets at countessluann.com #weworkeditoutontheremix.”
Luanne, who in 2018 began headlining her own cabaret show, and Bethenny had famously gotten into a confrontation during a group dinner on a RHONY season 11 episode that aired in 2019.
The Skinnygirl founder had uttered to her costar the now-infamous line, “Life is not a cabaret. It is actually not a cabaret!” and accused the stage performer of not checking in on her after the death of her boyfriend Dennis Shields.
Bethenny went on to explain on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that she was reacting to “many things,” adding, “There was a boiling point. But there was really something that I was observing in her that just really triggered me.”
On the RHONY after show, Luann responded, “Bethenny and I have been friends for a long time, and we’ve been through a lot together.” She added, “Certainly this is not the end of the road. Maybe it’s a new beginning.”
