Dorinda Medley shared a “contradictory” photo and caption on her Instagram page on Thursday, which led to many comments from her fans and followers.

Following in the footsteps of Jeana Keough, 68, and Teresa Giudice, 52, both of whom were caught sharing edited photos of themselves on social media this month, the 59-year-old Real Housewives of New York City alum posted an image that fans called “heavily photoshopped” as she encouraged them to “stay true” and “stay honest.”
“Home and Happy … I’ve grown fully content with the woman I am today … I hope to keep teaching my daughter how to navigate this life as we know it as it’s not a straight line,” Dorinda wrote in the caption of her July 10 post, which featured a professional shot taken for Wingman Magazine.
She then added, in part, “And consideration above all else … Perfection is nothing … Growth is everything !!! Live Life.”
Right away, Instagram users took to the comments section of the post to share their thoughts.
“I thought this was Savannah Chrisley!” one person said, signaling the 26-year-old Chrisley Knows Best alum.
“Stay true and honest to your face! Who’s that!?” asked another.
“Dorinda — we don’t need [FaceTune] from you!” noted a third.
Another said that the photo “doesn’t even look like” Dorinda as someone else said they miss the days when the former RHONY star was “raw, fresh, and real.”
Several other Instagram users suggested that the image Dorinda shared wasn’t even her, asking, “Respectfully, who is that?”
Others pointed to the irony of the post, noting that it was bizarre to see Dorinda sharing an edited image of herself with a caption “about being content with the woman she is today.”
“I’m dying. I guess she means on the inside,” they reasoned.
“Who are you and what did you do with Dorinda?” someone else wondered.
Meanwhile, another person agreed with the irony of Dorinda’s message.
“The caption and the heavily photoshopped picture are very contradictory,” they stated.
Dorinda Medley was a full-time cast member on The Real Housewives of New York City from season seven through season 12 and also appeared on the second season of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, which was filmed at her Berkshires mansion, Bluestone Manor.
