Don’t hold your breath for a Tres Amigas reunion — at least not anytime soon.
In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Shannon Storms Beador shared more details about her ongoing feud with her former bestie Tamra Judge. Sure, The Real Housewives of Orange County moms have had multiple tiffs over the years, but Shannon said she believes their most recent fallout could be permanent. She shared her disappointing outlook during the exclusive July sit-down when asked if she foresaw a reconciliation.
“I don’t, because I now can look back and see pretty much every season that I’ve been in with Tamra, there’s always an issue that she has with me,” Shannon explained. “Either I did something or didn’t do something, and it’s OK, we don’t need to be friends then. She says she walks on eggshells around me. I’m sorry that you feel that way, but I walked on eggshells around her.”
Tamra and Shannon’s friendship begins to fracture
The two appeared to be a great terms at the end of RHOC Season 17 and even teamed up on Tres Amigas — a traveling live comedy show co-hosted by RHOC alum Vicki Gunvalson. However, rumors of a fallout began circulating back in January when Tamra posted a photo of herself with the caption, “Uno.” Tamra later confirmed she had exited the project after discovering her co-hosts were “talking behind [her] back.” Tamra also made the allegations during a tense exchange with Shannon in Season 18 Episode 2 (July 18).
Shannon admitted to Us Weekly she was critical of Tamra’s behavior and questioned her renewed friendship with Alexis Bellino, a RHOC alum who returned to the series in the Season 18 premiere.
“Well, I said that [Tamra] had a big ego, which got back to her, and yes, she does. And I’ve said, ‘Well, you do. Yeah, and?’” Shannon told Us Weekly before touching on Tamra’s bond with Alexis. “It’s like, ‘What are you doing? What are you doing?’ And so now they’re big buddies. None of it makes sense.”
Vicki explains why she cut ties with Tamra: “God spoke to me”
Vicki made similar comments in the July 17 episode of Turning the Tables, a newly launched podcast hosted by The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice. The mother of two said she decided to cut ties with Tamra after noticing a pattern in her on-again, off-again friendships.
“Watching how she treated Shannon this year [was the straw],” Vicki said. “And I see it in every single cast member of every single season. She goes after somebody else. It’s like clockwork. And so it wasn’t one person; it’s like God spoke to me and said, you don’t need that in your life. If you get too close to her again, something will happen. And so now I don’t wanna be around it.”
