The finale for The Real Housewives of New Jersey recently aired. As promised, it was a dramatic affair that highlighted why the network decided against a reunion. RHOC star Tamra Judge has even chimed in on that tense interaction between Margaret Josephs and Dolores Catania.
As fans will recall, Dolores accused Margaret of not inviting her to the pre-reunion meeting from last season. However, Dolores goes off the rails when Margaret says she did invite her.
According to Heavy, the finale came up on the Two Ts In a Pod podcast, and Tamra had quite a bit to say about the scene.
She says, “I just feel like when somebody has such a strong reaction — it just is suspicious to me. I have a feeling that they are both speaking their truth; I think, like Marge said — she probably said it in passing. Or, like in conversation, ‘Hey, we’re all getting together.’ And [Dolores] doesn’t remember it.”
Tamra goes on to say that Dolores probably denied the request because she “is more loyal to Teresa.” She even questioned if the RHONJ star may be afraid of Teresa Giudice and her husband.
Tamra goes on, “She is like Teresa’s keeper. ‘Teresa, are you okay? Don’t say that. Teresa smile.’ It’s like a stage mom. It’s bizarre behavior to me.”
Of course, she talks about the pre-reunion meeting that came up early in the season when Teresa made it into something that the people who were there said it wasn’t. Teresa took it as they were planning to “take her down.” However, even housewives from other shows have said it’s not uncommon to sometimes get together before the reunion happens. However, there have been others who have called the meeting a bit odd.
As for her response to Margaret during the episode, Dolores said that she was simply upset that her friend had said something that was untrue.
Now, fans of RHONJ have the watch party to look forward to. Additionally, it may be a while before there’s any casting news about the next season following the episode many fans have said felt like a series finale.
