Phaedra Parks is once again holding a peach.
The reality star is returning to the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta for the upcoming Season 16, TVLine has confirmed. Parks was a cast member on the Bravo reality hit beginning in Season 3; she left the cast following Season 9, which wrapped up in 2017.
Parks announced the news herself on Instagram with a photo of her holding a peach on the steps of a private jet, accompanied by the caption: “You called. I answered.”
Parks is already having quite a year with her breakout performance on Season 2 of Peacock’s reality competition The Traitors. With her cunning gameplay and instantly quotable quips (“Oh lord, not Ekin-Su”), Parks quickly became a fan favorite, even to those who had never seen her on Bravo. Parks is also currently a cast member of Bravo’s Married to Medicine, which is set to return for Season 11.
She returns to the RHOA cast at a moment of significant upheaval: Longtime cast member Kenya Moore was axed from the show in June after a 10-season run. Her exit stems from an alleged incident while filming Season 16 with new RHOA cast member Brittany Eady in which Moore allegedly displayed explicit images of Eady performing sexual acts during the grand opening of her Kenya Moore Hair Salon in Atlanta. The event was filmed for the show, but there’s no word yet on how much of the incident — if any — will make it to air.
