Are Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley facing the possibility of demotion on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? The answer appears to be no, despite what social media squawkers may want to believe.
On April 22, we reported on allegations that Kyle would lose her place on RHOBH unless she came clean about her relationship with Morgan Wade. A source soon told us there was no truth to this report. Nevertheless, with all the recent cast shakeups around Beverly Hills, many took the report as truth.
Recently, a similar report emerged about Dorit. These rumors stated that Dorit would be demoted. That is unless she revealed the true state of her marriage to PK Kemsley. However, as with Kyle before her, sources confirmed these reports were false.
Were RHOBH stars faced with an ultimatum?
In response to the demotion rumors, one source flat out told RadarOnline, “That’s not true.” Two more sources confirmed that Dorit “will not be downgraded” and fans “will see her this season.” When asking another source close to production, they reportedly scoffed. They also confirmed that production would never present such ultimatums.
The claims surrounding Dorit’s demotion came from The Daily Mail. On April 29, a source allegedly told the outlet, “She wants to be a full time cast member on the show, but she does not want to explain that she is on a break with PK and he has temporarily moved out of the house.”
The source continued, “She really does not want to be seen as a single mother in Beverly Hills, because once you are labeled that you don’t get invited to as many parties, you lose friends, you are an insider.”
These reports aligned with the rumors around Kyle, suggesting that she had to come clean about her relationship with Morgan. But it looks like the Mail needs some better sources.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is streaming on Peacock.
