If Kyle Richards’ reaction to Mauricio Umansky trying to kiss her during an episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills last season wasn’t indication enough, a source claims that Kyle’s finally ready to be DONE done with Mauricio.
After Season 13 gave glimpses into Kyle and Mau’s relationship strain, they announced they were separating. Up until now, the two kind of kept their relationship in limbo without any concrete plans for how they’d move forward.
However, after Mauricio was very publicly seen kissing someone else earlier this month, Kyle’s reportedly super ready to get divorced.
Source: Kyle’s “more than ready to divorce Mauricio”
Kyle and Mauricio announced their separation after 27 years of marriage last July. Kyle shared that the two agreed that they were “free to do what they want” when it came to dating. But, when photos emerged of Mauricio kissing and vacation canoodling with actress Nikita Kahn, Kathy Hilton had to step in to talk her upset sister down. Kyle also removed “wife” from her Instagram bio. Could this all have been the straw that broke the camel’s back?
According to Life and Style, an inside source says that Kyle’s had enough and now wants to untether herself from Mau.
The insider began, “She is more than ready to divorce Mauricio.“
And, Kyle’s ready to play hardball. The source added, “She’s ready to take him to the cleaners!”
Kyle and Mau didn’t sign a prenup when they got married in 1996. They also didn’t have a ton of money back then. Now Mauricio is worth upwards of $100 million since growing his real estate empire. The source says that since Kyle married Mau when he had nothing. She was supportive of him for all of these years so she intends to get her share – even if it means things have to get ugly. Allegedly.
“Kyle’s been there from the very beginning. She propped Mauricio up all these years, and now she’s ready to take him down a few notches,” explained the source.
Production of Season 14 is currently underway. Kyle didn’t reveal anything about her failing marriage or close friendship with Morgan Wade last season. Perhaps, we’ll finally see some movement when RHOBH returns.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to return to Bravo in late 2024 or early 2025.
