Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky are reportedly giving one another “space and respect” over a year after separating, and have no immediate plans to end their marriage legally.
As the longtime Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple continues to live separately, with Kyle, 55, in their former marital home in Encino and Mauricio, 54, at a luxury condo in West Hollywood, all while maintaining a family unit for the sake of their daughters, an insider claims they still have “a lot to figure out.”
“[Kyle and Mauricio are] working on how to establish their individual lives while remaining connected as a family,” an insider told PEOPLE this month. “After being in a routine for decades, they have had a lot to figure out while navigating their new normal. Going through a separation has been challenging enough that no one is rushing to get a divorce.”
Instead, the insider continued, Kyle and Mauricio are giving each other “as much love, space and respect as possible” as they move forward with their lives as individuals.
Amid their ongoing separation, Mauricio has been doing plenty of traveling and recently found himself in London, England, where he reunited with Paul “PK” Kemsley, 56, who is in the midst of his own separation from Dorit Kemsley, 47.
In a series of posts on PK’s Instagram Story, shared by Bravo Snark Side on Instagram, he and Mauricio were seen taking in the sights across the pond.
“Reunited in London,” PK wrote in the caption of one pic of the two of them. Then, with another, he tagged friends, including singer Boy George, as he revealed they were visiting Primrose Hill.
“The fact PK used this song has me [laughing]. I bet neither would use this song if they got back with their wives! Just saying,” the fan page stated of the track “Reunited” by Peaches & Herb, which includes the lyrics, “I was a fool to ever leave your side … Me minus you is such a lonely ride … The breakup we had has made me lonesome and sad … I realize I love you ’cause I want you bad.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 is currently in production and expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime later this year or early next year.
