The Las Vegas Raiders are one team that has a lot of celebrity fans. They are one of the most popular teams in all of sports, across the world, and due to their history and success in the past, have fans across the globe. And, with the relocation to Las Vegas, having been in Oakland and Los Angeles, a lot of celebrities have attached to the team.
One of the more famous chefs is Guy Fieri, a reality TV chef known for his flair and style. He is one of the nicest dudes ever and one of the biggest die-hard fans in the world. He goes to several games a year in Las Vegas and has even further proven his fandom this week.
Tuesday in Southern California, the Las Vegas Raiders started training camp in Costa Mesa, just 30 miles away from where head coach Antonio Pierce grew up. So, this is a bit different for him, and he talked about that extensively.
But, training camp is where the real work gets started. It’s where the team starts their 2024 season, because now, every week, they will have football. The pads aren’t on yet, and won’t be till next week, but this is where the real work begins. Right now, it’s all practice until the preseason comes in a few weeks. And when the preseason comes, that’s when the football games get played, and that’s when it gets even more intense.
But, right now it’s also time to have a bit of fun before the team gets serious in the season. So, they let some fans come out to training camp, and one of the fans that just had to be there was Fieri, who brought his family along as well, with all of them wearing some type of Raiders gear.
That’s what you love to see, and it’s evident that Antonio Pierce has sort of restored that with his hiring. He has the team back on track and has the fan base bought in.
