Citizens of New Jersey can rest easy. Ramona Singer has deleted that shady post about the Garden State, which drew the ire of Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, and New Jersians everywhere. Perhaps Ramona fell in love with the state after all?
In case you missed it, Ramona shared an obnoxiously written Instagram post about spending time in New Jersey. She talked about her neighboring state as if she traveled to a third-world country on another planet. She instantly got roasted for it, and apparently, she received the feedback. The post is now nowhere to be found on her feed.
A classic case of post and delete
Last week, Ramona uploaded a lovely selfie, but her caption is what caught people off guard. It said, “Have you ever gone out of your element? Well guess where I am now? Not Hamptons not Aspen not St Barts not nyc not Capri ….I am in NJ having the best time! It’s not the place but the people you are with.”
Of course, everyone knows that Ramona isn’t the best with her words, but this particular post really raised a lot of eyebrows. Melissa from Real Housewives of New Jersey quickly stood up for her state. She commented, “Ummm I think NJ is fantastic.”
Those words must have resonated with Ramona because the Real Housewives of New York alum came back to her feed and deleted the post. You know she probably still has the selfie saved in her phone somewhere so she can privately reflect on her brave act of entering New Jersey.
Ramona may have deleted her Instagram post, but if this hurt your feelings, definitely don’t expect an apology. We all know that genuine apologies aren’t something she’s really known for, regardless of who she offended.
