Much like his estranged wife, Paul “PK” Kemsley isn’t afraid to switch up his look.
Nearly three months after announcing his split from Dorit Kemsley, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills husband took to Instagram to unveil his latest hair transformation. The July 26 Story showed PK sitting in a car as he removed a Four Seasons baseball cap from his head. The UK native then paused for several seconds to provide a clear look at his much shorter ’do.
PK Kemsley asks fans to weigh in on his “new buzz cut”
“Do we like the new buzz cut?” he asked in a poll that included the “yes” and “no” options.
As of press time, more than half of the participants voted “no” in the poll, which led PK to consider a blocking spree.
“Is it bad behavior just to block anyone who doesn’t like my buzz cut,” he joked in a subsequent story.
How did fans respond to PK’s 2020 buzz cut?
This isn’t the first time PK has rocked a buzz cut. The father of five donned the style toward the end of 2020 and — just like this time around — he called on fans to share their opinions.
“Too late to ask if I should [get a haircut] so I wanna know if you like,” he wrote in a Story with a “yes” or “no” poll. The results were much more favorable back then, as 887 people voted “yes” and 300 voted “no.”
“My haircut is a clear winner,” PK declared in the Story.
PK and Dorit Kemsley split after nine years of marriage
PK’s hair update came amid his marital split from Dorit. The two announced their separation in a May 9 joint statement, about two months after celebrating their ninth wedding anniversary.
“We as a couple have been subject to a lot of speculation about our marriage,” they wrote in the since-removed Instagram post. “We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children (10-year-old son, Jagger, and 8-year-old daughter, Phoenix) together.”
Does Dorit anticipate a reconciliation with PK?
Although the husband and wife appear to be a good terms, Dorit said she wasn’t sure if they would ever get back together.
“Oh, I don’t know. It’s not a question just for me, you know?” she told TMZ when asked about a reconciliation. One step at a time. One step at a time.”
The Beverly Hills ’Wife insisted she and PK were “trying to focus on the kids,” but said their marital issues will be explored in the upcoming season of RHOBH.
“Everything’s on the show,” she continued. “Our reality. I’m not hiding anything.”
