Danielle Cabral is facing backlash on Instagram after sharing a photo of her stomach post-tummy tuck.
Just over a year after confirming the surgery with her fans and followers on Instagram, the 38-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey star returned to social media, where she shared a controversial photo of herself in a two-piece fitness outfit that had fans asking why her belly button was so high.
“Fun little photo shoot,” Danielle captioned her July 31 post.
“OMG where is her torso?” one person asked after Danielle’s photo was shared.
“People have longer torso and their navel may look high. Just saying,” noted another.
A third wrote, “The belly [button]?”
But again, someone defended Danielle’s figure.
“Haters are gonna hate! You look absolutely gorgeous,” they declared.
As the comments continued to flood in, another person told Danielle, “Girl I know your doctor didn’t put your belly button up that high.”
Then, someone said, “Anyone else see how ridiculously high her belly button is … Sorry I had [to]!”
But another IG user stated that “[no one] should be judging [Danielle] or making comments.”
Still, the questions about the placement of Danielle’s belly button pressed on.
“I love her but WHY is her belly button that high? Genuinely asking. Is that a tummy tuck and they just put it too high?” one person wondered.
As RHONJ fans will recall, Danielle admitted to being jealous of Dolores Catania‘s physique after her own set of plastic surgeries prior to her tummy tuck in July 2023.
“I can’t even tell you what it’s like to film [RHONJ] with Dolores Catania and that body-ody-ody. I wanna jump off the f*cking bridge,” she confessed. “And I made the decision, finally, to do something about it, not for vain reasons, well maybe slightly a little bit, but I just want to feel good in my own skin.”
Months after the procedure, Danielle further explained her decision to go under the knife as she shared before and after photos of her stomach.
“After 2 C-sections, healthy dieting, and INSANE workouts, there was nothing left that I could do to get rid of my excess skin,” Danielle shared on Instagram. “There wasn’t a magical pill (I wish) I could take for it to disappear. It wasn’t going anywhere unless I had the medical procedure known as a ‘tummy tuck.’”
“I would like to emphasize that I put in countless amounts of work, and my body was in the best shape right before I had this procedure. Simply put, there was nothing left to do,” she added.
Danielle has also undergone reconstructive breast surgery and rhinoplasty.
