Tanner Howe and the Pittsburgh Penguins have made things official.
On Wednesday, the historic NHL franchise announced they have signed the Prince Albert product to a three-year, entry-level contract.
The 18-year-old was selected by Pittsburgh in the second round (46th overall) during last month’s NHL Draft in Las Vegas.
Last season in the WHL, Howe captained the Regina Pats and led the club in scoring with 29 goals and 49 assists in 68 games.
The Penguins are set to begin their season at home against the New York Rangers on October 9.
