Ten high school graduates have been awarded scholarships from the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation.

Each PPF scholarship is valued at $3,000 for the student’s first year of college.
An $2,000 is available for the second year of college if a 3.0 GPA is maintained and a minimum of 24 credit hours are earned.
The following students have received scholarships this year:

- Isabel Concepcion – Woodland Hills – University of Pittsburgh
- Marjani Howze-Jetter – Pittsburgh Obama – Temple University
- Elena McCutcheon – Allegheny Valley – Penn State University
- Caroline McDevitt – Penn Hills – Penn State University @ Erie
- Kendall McKelvey – Northgate – Oberlin College
- Leah Spencer – Cornell – Staffordshire University @ UK
- Isabella Ruston – Steel Valley – Penn State University
- Ava Rose Waleko – Pittsburgh Science & Technology – American University @ DC
The Penguins Foundation has awarded nearly 175 scholarships over the past decade in partnership with UPMC.
This year, the Penguins Foundation supported six different scholarship programs, awarding $109,000 to 37 Pittsburgh-area students.
