Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo recently answered a series of questions and answers about their relationship and their co-stars on Southern Charm and Summer House.
Seven months into their relationship, the long-distance Bravo couple is sharing their first DMs to each other, the moment they “knew” they’d eventually be more than friends, admitting that they’re not on the same page in regard to their future wedding, and naming another couple from the network who they love to go on double dates with.
“I was definitely attracted to Craig, even before I met him. I knew of him, [and] knew what he looked like,” Paige shared during a recent chat with Bravo Insider.
And after joking about Paige being a “fangirl,” Craig said he knew he’d one day date Paige when he arrived to the Hamptons for Kyle Cooke‘s birthday.
“I think once we kissed, we knew,” he added.
“It was like, ‘We’re gonna date. We just don’t know when,’” Paige agreed.
While Craig and Paige went official at the end of last year, they’ve been long-distance ever since, with Paige in New York City and Craig in Charleston.
“I love long-distance,” Paige admitted. “I need to be by myself a certain amount of days and watch my shows. Craig doesn’t watch Housewives. But I think that if and when the time comes, it would be me moving to Charleston.”
“I really loved long-distance until we just filmed Winter House [season two] and we just had to do two weeks apart and I really didn’t like it,” Craig replied, noting that they don’t have to make a final decision on where they intend to live until they “have kids.”
According to Craig and Paige, they’ve discussed plans to wed on occasion. However, that doesn’t mean they are in agreement in regard to how they should move forward. In fact, they want completely different things out of their big day.
“We don’t agree on anything. Not a single thing,” Paige confessed.
“My dream wedding’s in the Bahamas on the beach. Everyone’s barefoot. You get drinks when you come to the beach. And it’s like a weeklong vacation for everyone that comes,” Craig revealed as Paige shared, “I want mine to literally be the Met Gala. I want it to be so black tie that people are scared about it. I want it to be regal and at some castle somewhere.”
In the meantime, Craig and Paige are enjoying their time dating and say their favorite Bravo couple to double date with is Kyle and Amanda Batula.
“Kyle and Amanda we always have a great time with, Kyle and I end up getting bombed and the girls just make fun of us,” Craig revealed.
“It’s really like I just get to go to dinner with Amanda because the boys are like in their own world doing God knows what and then me and Amanda really get to catch up,” Paige agreed.
As for Paige’s favorite cast member from Craig’s show, those honors went to Kathryn Dennis and Madison LeCroy, the latter of whom she named as her pick for a Southern Charm threesome.
“I was new hanging out with that whole group and I would say they definitely made me feel the most welcomed,” Paige explained, noting that her Summer House threesome pick would be Amanda.
“I like a blonde, I think cuz I’m so opposite,” she said.
Regarding their relationship with Lindsay Hubbard, who caused a stir at the mention of Kristin Cavallari, Craig’s alleged ex-flame, at the start of season six, Paige said that while she and Lindsay aren’t exactly best friends, they’ll always be in each other’s lives because they spend the summer together as Craig noted that Lindsay’s current happiness, which is due in part to Carl Radke, has been beneficial to the group.
“I think the happier people get in life, which she’s on a path of happiness, everyone starts to get along better,” he reasoned.
Although Craig and Paige aren’t ready to make any permanent decisions in regard to where they’ll live once they start a family, Paige is currently enjoying an extended stay in Charleston. And, on May 6, Craig shared a series of photos of the two of them lounging on the beach and hanging with his parents.
“Charleston,” Craig wrote in his caption.
Also during a separate interview with E! Online, Paige revealed some new info when sharing that she and Craig actually exchanged some DMs (Direct Messages) on Instagram way before they ever met in person.
“Craig actually DMed me off of a painting that I posted that somebody painted of me, and he said, ‘Wow, this is really cool,’” Paige recalled. “And I said, ‘LOL, I know, right?’ And then, we didn’t DM again for like two years. So, I don’t know if I nailed it with that response, or that was awful.”
