The Vanderpump Rules BFFs walked a red carpet looking glam while Scheana embraced Lala’s growing baby bump.
Vanderpump Rules’ Lala Kent is gearing up to give birth to baby No. 2 — and she is getting in all of her friend dates as her due date nears.
Lala recently had a night out on the town in support of Scheana Shay, and the reunion could not be any more special. Lala and her baby bump hit the red carpet over the weekend at the Miss USA pageant, which Scheana helped judge.
The night out on the town came as Lala has been busy decorating her second child’s nursery, attending fashion shows, raising her 3-year-old daughter Ocean Kent Emmett, and hanging out with her friends.
In Scheana’s Instagram carousel, posted to her account on Tuesday, Aug. 6, she can be seen embracing Lala’s bump, standing on the pageant stage, and posing with friends like Ally Lewber and The Valley cast members Jasmine Goode, Nia Booko, and Janet Caperna on the red carpet.
Lala took to the comments of the post, where she posted such a sweet message for her friend. “My baby mama,” she wrote, accompanied with a white heart emoji.
Nia, a former Miss USA, also left an encouraging comment for Scheana. “You looked incredible and chose a great Miss USA,” Nia added.
Are Lala Kent and Scheana Shay still friends?
In case the photo above wasn’t enough proof, take Lala’s word for it. During a May 31 Amazon Live stream, Lala said that their friendship is still going strong. “Scheana and I are extremely close,” she said. “That is the family.”
Lala also revealed that Scheana’s daughter, Summer Moon Honey Davies, is best friends with Ocean, so they see each other a lot. “Summer Moon and Ocean really love each other a lot. They’re going to be going to school together, it’s really sweet,” she added. “Our families have a very cute dynamic and I know that [for] people who watch the show, it doesn’t make much sense, and that’s OK.”
“I’m just happy that Seesh and I have the friendship that we have,” she concluded.
The duo (separately) got their daughters ready for their first day of pre-school on Thursday, July 11, showing off their first day of school outfits on their own Instagram accounts. Lala left a very sweet comment on Summer Moon’s Instagram carousel. “What a good day,” she wrote under the post. “Love you guys!”
Scheana and Summer Moon were also in attendance at Lala’s baby shower, which happened three days later. Scheana later took to her podcast, Scheananigans with Scheana Shay, where she said she had so much fun watching her and Lala’s daughter play together at the shower, noting that they gave off VPR “Season 1 vibes.”
“Their personalities at just three years old, I mean, they are us in so many ways, it’s crazy,” Scheana said.
