After Taylor Ann Green lost Olivia Flowers’ trust because of a secret kiss with Austen Kroll, the Southern Charm duo has not been able to repair their friendship.
The ladies first became besties on Southern Charm Season 8, but things fell apart for them after Taylor and Shep Rose broke up, and the former dental assistant briefly took her friendship with Olivia’s ex to the next level.
Though Olivia and Taylor tried to work out their issues on the Season 9 reunion, which filmed in New York City, they weren’t able to move on in their friendship.
“I mean, we’re not friends,” she explained during an episode of Scheana Shay’s podcast in July 2024. “How we left in New York was the last time we saw each other and spoke.”
However, Olivia does think that the two can mend their friendship, given the commonality they both share with losing their siblings.
“I think in New York, I was very much like, ‘The door is shut, we’re done with this, moving on,'” she continued. “But, I think the time’s passed now to where, you know, if we were ever to have a conversation, I would be open to it. I think it would be a new friendship. It wouldn’t ever be what it was, but it’s just [there are] so many more important things [that] are going on that it’s not worth holding on to the grudge. And I do miss that friendship.”
Olivia Flowers’ life after Southern Charm Season 9
During Part 3 of the Southern Charm Season 9 reunion, which aired in January 2024, Olivia confirmed that she had a new man in her life (though she had teased her relationship status on TikTok, and briefly spoke about him on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast).
“He lives in Dallas,” she teased. “I took Madison [LeCroy’s] advice on looking outside of Charleston.”
Over time, Olivia shared more details about her beau, whose name is Alex Williams. Alex works in finance, and Olivia has been dividing her time between Charleston and Texas.
The couple celebrated their one-year anniversary in May 2024.
