The Love Is Blind and The Ultimatum co-hosts — who wed on July 15, 2011, after five years of dating — took to Instagram on Monday to celebrate their marriage milestone. Nick, 50, posted a sweet tribute to his wife while Vanessa, 43, shared how they celebrated via her Instagram Story.
“13 years walking by your side! I am so incredibly proud of this life we’ve built together,” Nick captioned his Instagram post. “Thank you for your patience, your dedication, and your unwavering support. Happy anniversary, V! I love you more than you can ever know!!💙.”
Nick shared two pics of himself with Vanessa. In the first photo, Nick and Vanessa look into each other’s eyes while walking hand-in-hand barefoot on the beach. In the second, they smile lovingly while holding hands and wearing matching black cowboy hats. The latter photo was taken last year by photographer Scott Clark during Nick and Vanessa’s birthday extravaganza.
Nick shares three children — Camden, 11, Brooklyn, 9, and Phoenix, 7 — with Vanessa.
Vanessa’s post was a little less formal. “Haha! This is 13!! #HappyAnniversary,” Vanessa wrote, sharing a photo of Nick lounging on the couch with Phoenix laying on top of him and Camden watching his iPad nearby. In the background of the shot was a “Happy Anniversary” banner and balloons.
The next image on Vanessa’s Instagram Story showed a sweet note she and Nick received, wishing them a happy anniversary. Another photo featured their anniversary cake.
In September 2022, the couple shared with ET the secret to maintaining wedded bliss after all these years.
“You need to communicate. You need to be responsible for your actions, you can’t just point a finger. But also, I think, on the flip side, you need to applaud that person when they do something beautiful and right,” Vanessa shared.
Vanessa also revealed the one piece of advice she received from her therapist that she found so helpful.
“[Our therapist] talks about making love deposits,” she said. “And you can’t just take. You can’t just withdraw. You gotta make a deposit.”
Most recently, Nick and Vanessa spoke to ET in February and dished on how they have Taylor Swift to thank for their daughter’s interest in football.
“You know what’s amazing is my daughter never, ever wanted to watch a football game with dad,” Nick told ET’s Nichelle Turner at the Fanatics party at the Marquee Club in Las Vegas ahead of the 2024 Super Bowl. “Now she will sit and she said, ‘Have they shown Taylor yet? Have they shown Taylor yet?’ I was like, ‘No, not yet. Oh, he scored. Come on baby. ‘”
Added Vanessa, “She’s also watching the game with daddy.”
