Monica Garcia claimed during a recent appearance that two Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast members threatened to quit the series if she was brought back for season five.
Sparking a social media feud with Lisa Barlow, 49, Monica, 40, alleged that Bravo and production aimed to bring her back to the show before her former castmates allegedly dealt them with an ultimatum — and added that certain members of the series launched investigations against her after season four.
“Bravo and production have gotten a lot of sh*t for not inviting me back. It was not their fault and they actually tried to bring me back several, several times. They actually tried to bring me in toward the end of the season for season five and you can thank a couple of motherf*ckers for threatening to quit if Bravo brought me back,” Monica shared during the appearance, as seen in a video shared on Instagram by Salty Housewives Podcast.
She continued, “So I wanna shout out Bravo for having my back always. They are not the ones should be catching the heat and we all know who should be. And if you don’t know, you will real soon on the podcast.”
Monica then said that the women “opened several investigations against me with the network [and] with Warner Brothers.”
“I had to go through and endure for like six-month-long investigations. People have no idea,” she revealed as she began to tear up. “[There were] really disgusting allegations and terrible sh*t.”
According to Monica, Meredith Marks, 52, and Whitney Rose, 37, had her back, withdrawing from the investigations and confirming the allegations against her were “false.”
“Shout out to them for doing the right thing and defending me at a very dark, very dangerous time,” Monica added.
