Following their surprise exit from Love Island, couple Uma Jammeh and Wil Anderson have shown they are still together with a loved-up display as they went to restaurant Sheesh and followed their meal with a trip to Luxx Club in London’s West End on Thursday 11 July.
The two 23 year olds looked happy as they posed for photos on their first night out since leaving Love Island. They were joined by fellow ex-Islander Trey Norman.
During the evening, Uma posted a photo of her outfit, with the message: “Just wanted to say major love to every single one of you!! Honestly couldn’t of imagined such a lovely reception from everyone. You honestly are all such angels. I have had the best experience ever and I have met such special people in there that will be part of me forever. I am honestly so full of joy right now.”
Wil and Uma’s exit from the villa couldn’t have been more dramatic, with Uma walking out of the villa on Tuesday 9 July.
In a shock recoupling, new bombshell Reuben chose to couple up with Uma, leaving Wil single. However, instead of being allowed to remain single in the villa, Wil was dumped from the Island, leaving Uma in tears.
She immediately decided to pack her bags and walk out with Wil, despite the girls trying to persuade her to stay.
Many fans were critical of her decision, especially after Wil kissed Lucy Graybill in Casa Amor and there were some explosive revelations during movie night. However, the couple were on firmer ground on Monday, with Wil telling Uma: “There’s always a chance for things to change, it could have been the same for you in Casa. My feelings then were a lot different to my feelings now. In my eyes it was early days for us.”
Uma then replied: “I was under the impression that we were saying the same thing but the way I was saying I was open, was really different to the way you were saying it,” before telling him how hurt she was by his actions.
It was then that Wil told Uma he’d now walk out the villa if she were to leave. “That was never my intention, I never wanted that to happen, I would have never have moved the way I did if we had have been closed off because I would have been loyal to you.”
“Now I know what I want fully, I want to be walking out of here with you and I’ll do what it takes. I would leave now if you were to leave, I wouldn’t be hanging around. I’ve found what I want in you.”
Fans have since taken to social media to debate whether they think Uma did the right thing leaving with Wil.
“All that for them to end up splitting in a few days,” predicted one. Another said: “i’m embarrassed for Uma. choosing to leave for WILL??!? girl stand the f**k UP.”
“I’m so sad for Uma, once her emotions cool down she will quickly realise that Will would NEVER have left the villa for her…,” said another disappointed fan.
They were more supportive after seeing photos of the couple’s London night out, however, with one fan writing: “Love this she didn’t listen to the noise,” while another added: “Lovely and beautiful girl as long as she’s happy that’s all that matters.”
