Love Island fans are set for a massive surprise following a significant alteration to the show’s format.

In previous episodes, Islanders would either stroll or be chaperoned to their dates. However, this routine is about to be dramatically disrupted in the forthcoming episode.

Producers have gone above and beyond to ensure viewers are left astounded. In tonight’s instalment, two singletons will be seen zooming away from the Majorca villa in a sleek sports car en route to their romantic rendezvous.

Sean and his flame Matilda have finally smoothed things over after a brief turbulent period post his Casa Amor escapade which saw him momentarily distracted. But that’s all water under the bridge now as the pair sped off on a romantic date, with Sean at the helm of a luxurious Porsche.

The duo drove to an isolated cliff top where they relished each other’s company while savouring paella. Despite their prior uncertainties, Sean had a crucial question for Matilda, expressing his desire to elevate their relationship.

In a snippet acquired by The Sun, Sean was seen raising a toast to their first date before sharing his anticipation for the future. He expressed: “I just feel like our journey in here is just going so good and I’m excited for what’s to come. The feelings I’m feeling now, wow.”

Matilda seems to have pardoned his Casa Amor shenanigans, assuring Sean that he had “proved himself” and that “no one compares” to him. “I think what I’ve got with you is very special,” he confessed to his partner.

But that’s not the only bombshell, one fed-up singleton halted the day’s events to demand a recoupling. In an unprecedented move that left producers gobsmacked, one bloke declared: “Actually everyone, one minute, that speech was perfect, it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while and it’s a madness doing it in front of everyone, I thought it was just going to be me and you but I can’t wait any longer.”

In Thursday night’s episode, the villa welcomed new flight attendant Lolly Hart, but viewers are already suspecting she’s playing a tactical game. Her entrance caused a stir as she went on dates with Joey Essex, Ciaran Davies and Konnor Ewudzi.
