LOVE Island’s Nicole Samuel and Ciaran Davies have taken a huge step just one week after the show ended.
The couple, who came second on the show to Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan, have moved in together.
In a Tikok video, the couple were asked if they’d moved in together by fans.
“You can answer that!” Nicole laughed, as Ciaran looped his arm around her shoulder.
“Already moved in!” Ciaran grinned, with Nicole adding: “Yeaah!”
Halfway through the video they were joined by Ayo Odukoya and Jess Spencer, who seemed to be just as surprised that they had made the big step.
“We said we were going to wait for at least three days,” Ciaran laughed.
“What is happening?!” Ayo exclaimed.
Their news had mixed reactions from fans, with some saying that it was too soon.
One wrote: “Alreadyyyyyyy?????” while a second wrote: “Oh wow just like that?”
“Aw love them but what?” another wrote on the comment section.
“She was obviously going to move in straight away. Because she won’t trust him alone,” chimed a fourth.
But not everyone was critical of the move, many were happy for the couple.
Many congratulated them, with one person writing: “Wonderful news”.
“What’s wrong with them moving in ma uncle went down on one knee to ask my auntie to marry her they 4 weeks into relationship that was 1986 over 30years later there still going strong,” a second wrote.
“People saying it’s too early technically they’ve been together 2 months but why not if they are happy leave them to it,” said a third.
This comes as fans believe they spotted the exact moment that cost the couple the final.
On Monday night Mimii and Josh were crowned winners of Love Island 2024 with 41 per cent of the vote.
The pair made history as the first black couple to win Love Island.
Welsh couple Nicole Samuel and Ciaran Davies narrowly missed out with just 35 per cent – who were voted as most popular days before.
One fan claimed on Reddit: “Revealing the most popular couple two weeks before the finale sets them up for failure.”
They added: “We’ve seen it twice now. It automatically makes the audience root against the favorites since everyone loves an underdog story. Not to mention it makes voters complacent.”
The viewer also claimed that it causes “implications” with the Islanders too, as other couples can “target” or “align” with the most popular.
They continued: “There’s also implications with the islanders themselves. Other couples can now target or align with the most popular couple or they themselves can become arrogant or think they have to play up their characters because that’s what people like. It’s very likely Nicole knowingly or unknowingly stopped starting arguments with Ciaran once she knew they were the front runners.
“There’s nothing worse the producers can do to sabotage a couple that’s heading for a win. It cost Whitney & Lochan the win last season and it cost Nicole & Ciaran the win this season. I know the sub’s favorite couple benefited this season but remember it made Sammie the winner last season as people started looking for alternatives for their anti Whitney vote.
“This “twist” has huge implications for the show. It completely ruins the natural flow of things and it’s completely non organic. And it has to stop.”
Many agreed with the claims.
One replied: “I agree, I think it’s fully sabotaging the popular couple.”
“I agree,” another chimed in.
