The Netflix star says she’s “still strong chinned” — but shared that she recently had a procedure done on her breasts
Love Is Blind star Chelsea Blackwell is firing back at critics who said she had surgery on her chin — but did share that she recently had breast surgery.
“It’s mommas birthday and this is the first time I’ve put on a drop of makeup in two weeks 🤘🏻,” Blackwell, 31, wrote on a selfie posted July 23 to her Instagram stories, referring to her own mother’s birthday.
In the picture, the Netflix reality star tucked her manicured hand under her chin, writing, “But for all you conspiracy theorist saying I’m bed ridden because I got my chin shaved down…shes still strong chinned 💪🏻”
However, in the next photo, Blackwell posted a shot of her torso. Clad in a pink T-shirt emblazoned with the cover of Nirvana’s 1993 album In Utero and black gingham shorts, she flashed the peace sign and a big smile. “No chin but new tatas! Yeeeehawww 🤠” she wrote.
Although she didn’t specify the type of surgery she had performed — implants, or perhaps a lift — she shared that the procedure was “something I have wanted to do for YEARS & finally had the down time!”
It’s not the only heath update from Blackwell. She recently shared that she made “amazing progress” in her weight-loss journey in an unfiltered TikTok about her fitness struggles.
“I love my body,” she said in April. “I’ve never been a small girl my entire life, and I’m okay with that. Why I decided to change what I was doing was because I wasn’t feeling healthy. I wasn’t feeling strong. It was affecting my mental health and it was affecting my energy levels.”
Blackwell shared that she’s “a hydrated lady” who drinks a lot of water now, but did admit, “I am not a huge gym girl. I have a joke: I don’t get this figure from loving to lift weights. I wish I did. I wish I was that girl. I just never will be her, and that’s ok. That’s alright.”
She shared that she does follow influencer Whitney Simmons’ fitness app but “I never go absolutely ham in the gym. I just like to get a little lift in to feel good.
The “main key component” in her weight loss, she said, was “walking.”
“It’s really my time to meditate and listen to podcasts. That’s just my ‘me time.’ ”
“If you’re on a weight loss journey, that’s amazing for you. I hope that you’re doing it feel better. If you’re fueling your body and you’re exercising, you’re only gonna deliver your best self possible,” Blackwell said. “And that’s why I decided to change my routine.”
