Lindsay Hubbard defended her choice to film Season 9 of “Summer House” in the Hamptons while pregnant.
The reality star addressed critics on Instagram Monday after several flocked to the comment section of a bump-baring mirror selfie assumed to be taken where the Bravo show is being filmed.
“The bump was bumping … cub was CUBBIN!,” she captioned the snap of herself wearing a low-waisted maxi skirt and crop top.
In response to the snap, one person wrote, “Respectfully, not sure why you would go back into a party house? You’re in a different era, sister.”
Hubbard, 37, replied, “Can you not party when you’re pregnant?”
The reality TV star also responded to a fan questioning why critics were so bothered by her decision, writing, “no seriously it is beyond confusing.”
Hubbard returned to film “Summer House” on July 5 and was later seen partying at the Magic Hour Rooftop Bar & Lounge in New York City with her bump out.
Before returning to set, the Bravolebrity announced she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Dr. Turner Kufe.
“Trigger Warning: This post contains more fireworks than the 4th of July! WE’RE PREGNANT!!!!!” she wrote on social media alongside a pic of herself smiling with a pregnancy test.
“I truly believe the universe has a bigger plan and this is it! .”
Hubbard told People the pregnancy was a “surprise and a shock at first because we were not trying or even planning.”
However, becoming parents “just felt so right” for the couple as they’re in a “loving, caring and healthy relationship.”
“I finally feel like I met my match with him,” she gushed.
Hubbard and Kufe’s history dates back to 2020 when they went on a few dates before she got together with her co-star Carl Radke.
The expectant mother and Radke were involved in a years-long on and off relationship. They officially broke up for good in August 2023, a few months before their destination wedding in Mexico.
While it’s unclear when Hubbard got back together with Kufe, she is expected to have been seeing him since spring.
