The Real Housewives of New York City alum opted for the skin-baring look during NYFW.
When it comes to New York Fashion Week, Leah McSweeney knows how to bring her A game.
We caught up with The Real Housewives of New York City alum during last year’s fashion event as she stunned in a flirty cutout frock with a blue brocade pattern. The sexy sheath featured dramatic cutouts at the waist and a curved hemline with garter-style strap detailing. The dress also featured a halter neckline and a low open back — the likes of which Leah aptly modeled with a flirtatious smirk.
For this year’s star-studded occasion, Leah again wore a skin-baring style, this time opting for two edgy separates (and a little declaration about her dating life).
Leah McSweeney’s NYFW Outfit
On September 11, Leah took to her Instagram Stories with a sultry mirror selfie, rocking a cropped baggy denim jacket that featured black, white, and light brown fur on the shoulders and belt-like embellishments on the cuffs. Leah paired the jacket with a low-rise black miniskirt with a lace-up side detail and numerous dazzling embellishments including studs, pearls, and safety pins.
The blonde beauty indicated that both pieces were from Seks, a rising New York label beloved by downtown scenester and style maven Julia Fox.
“I feel like I’m hotter when I’m single,” Leah wrote over the snapshot, in which she also donned sleek, straight strands.
In other photos that showed the Married to the Mob designer’s full ensemble, we got a closer look at how she accessorized the look with clear strap heels and long white nails.
“Only [Kelly Cutrone] could pull off last night,” Leah captioned a series of Instagram photos from the evening, indicating that she was in attendance at the debut show of Shao, a label created by designer Shao Yang.
“Thank u for dressing me bb [Seks],” Leah concluded her post, adding an additional funny tidbit about the evening: “PS if anyone has a video or photos of me getting my heel stuck in styrofoam and almost falling in a giant dirty puddle in front of all of the media, please send it to me.”
Numerous Bravolebs lent their support in the comments, including The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Dr. Wendy Osefo and Leah’s fellow RHONY alum Tinsley Mortimer, who both left fire emojis.
