Is Lala Kent throwing shade at Ariana Madix yet again? Maybe. If so, it was a bit subtle. Frankly, she may not have even intended to say anything about her Vanderpump Rules costar.
Of course, since Ariana apparently lives rent-free in Lala’s head, how could she not say something about her? Fans went a little crazy on Lala during VPR Season 11. Granted, Lala was acting very strange, turning on Ariana in favor of Tom Sandoval.
As such, things were extremely tense at the reunion. Couple that with the fact that Lala was pregnant, and her emotions were running high. Still, fans put her squarely in the wrong. So, how’s Lala feeling about the reunion months later?
Lala stands by her reunion comments, takes shots at her castmates
In an interview with Parents, Lala spoke on all her thoughts related to her second pregnancy and child. She mentioned that she was glad to take a break from the intensity of Vanderpump Rules. She explained, “I’ve always been a pretty intense person and I’ve always been protective, but the moment you have a kid? You turn into a warrior.”
“Anyone who comes in and tries to threaten the wellbeing of your children and how you provide for them is not going to be taken kindly. I stand by what I said at that reunion. I was deeply offended because no one was going to come in and take food off of my table. I’m a mama bear and anyone who doesn’t understand that? Not my problem.”
Now, take Lala’s statements separately, and nothing seems out of the ordinary (for her). But the fact she talked about ‘threatening the wellbeing of her child’ right beside a comment about the reunion? She seemed to insinuate that her castmates were threatening her child’s safety. And which cast member caused her the most grief at the reunion?
Of course, feel free to tell us if we’re reaching. But the association in Lala’s mind seemed rather clear.
Vanderpump Rules is streaming on Peacock.
