After Brittany, 35, confirmed their separation on their podcast, the Vanderpump Rules star, 33, weighed in on the breakup and rumors it was staged to promote The Valley while also explaining why she suggested Ariana Madix‘s head was “up [her] a**,” offering an update on her relationship with former fiance Randall Emmett, 53, looking back on her feud with Tom Sandoval, 41, and more.
“I mean, she’s one of my dearest friends so I obviously knew that things were not great, and I told her I support you, but I always say, ‘Leave him,’” she admitted on the March 5 episode of WWHL. “When a man starts to steal any of my friends’ [sparkles], I want them to kick the man to the curb, and Erika Jayne told me, ‘You’ll never be hotter than you are today.’”
Although Brittany and Jax, 44, have been accused of faking their breakup for their Pump Rules spinoff, Lala said the upcoming series needs no fabrication.
“They don’t need any help with that. They’re all a hot mess. They don’t need separations,” she stated.
Looking back at the moment in which she told Ariana, 38, to get her “head out of her a**,” Lala said the comment was made in regard to Ariana’s treatment of Scheana Shay, 38, who was struggling with her feelings towards former friend Sandoval.
“I meant that a lot of people came to her defense and now it was time to come to Scheana’s defense,” Lala clarified. “I mean, she did catch a restraining order on Ariana’s behalf.”
Also speaking of Ariana, Lala expressed excitement for the future opening of her and Katie Maloney‘s sandwich shop, Something About Her, which has yet to announce a new opening date after facing a series of permit-related delays.
“I hope it opens and is a huge success and there’s one on every corner because the sandwiches slap, y’all,” she proclaimed.
Regarding her dynamic with Randall, whom she split from in October 2021, shortly after welcoming their daughter, two-year-old Ocean, Lala said she doesn’t think of him much.
“It’s very strange because unless it has to do with Ocean, he’s so out of my mind, and I have Ocean the majority of the time so when he pops in, I kind of swat, and then, he disappears for a while,” she revealed.
While Sandoval has compared his affair with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, 29, to Lala’s past relationship with Randall, which started before his divorce from Ambyr Childers, 35, was finalized, Lala said the only parallel she sees is “narcissism.”
Looking back at Tuesday’s new episode of Pump Rules, Lala said it was tough seeing Scheana open up about Sandoval at their guided meditation session.
“That whole day with her was so sad. She was non-stop sobbing,” Lala recalled.
When she was then asked to rank Sandoval’s accountability on a scale of 0 to 100, Lala said, “He’s not taking much. 20 [percent] is kind of a lot.”
Also on the live broadcast, after revealing she was unaware of Tom Schwartz‘s reported romance with 23-year-old Sophia Skoro, saying she’s “been in [her] bubble,” Lala was asked if she felt Ally Lewber, 27, is “the one” for James Kennedy, 32.
“I adore her,” she shared.
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Andy applauded Lala for taking on a second pregnancy as a single mom.
“I feel very very happy and a level of independence that I didn’t know I would ever have, in every aspect. I have a wonderful support system,” Lala replied.
She also shared her thoughts on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13, doubling down on her suspicion that Mauricio Umansky, 53, was unfaithful to Kyle Richards, 55.
“Yes. I do. I stand by that,” she confirmed. “I thought the season was fantastic and I don’t know what everyone else feels about Kyle, but in my eyes, this season Kyle was so inspiring, there was something about the attitude that shifted for me, and I felt that she was so empowered and I love her.”
