Things have been going downhill fast for Lala Kent amid Vanderpump Rules Season 11. After confirming a friendship-ending fight with Ariana Madix at the Season 11 reunion, a chunk of viewers turned on Lala.
When news of the fight broke, it didn’t take long for fans to speculate as to the cause. With Season 11 continuing to air, it seemed Lala was cutting Tom Sandoval a lot of slack.
Lala recently made it known that she was all too aware of the turn in public opinion. At the time, she said she didn’t care. However, with her second baby on the way, the negativity is starting to get to her.
The backlash has Lala worried about how she’ll remember her second pregnancy
Lala Kent says she hasn’t been watching ‘VPR,’ but the reunion really “shook [her] up.” She also knows that she is receiving a lot of backlash right now, but she doesn’t “regret any of the season.” She then gets emotional about it. #PumpRules (🎥: @vanderpodrecaps) pic.twitter.com/dU1Ty8JWov

In a recent Amazon Live, Lala addressed her feelings surrounding Season 11’s fan response. “I was kind of getting into a darker place this season,” she said. “I’ve stayed off the internet, but I don’t need to stay off the internet … like, I know what people are saying.”
“The backlash that I’m getting. Unfortunately, it’s hard, because I don’t regret any of the season. So, it’s just best that I stay away from it.” Lala began crying during the livestream. She shared that she told her team to “avoid anything to do with Bravo or this season” so she could “enjoy” her pregnancy.
Through her tears, she said, “This is my real life and I know the show is too, but I just want to stay in my real life of creating my family.” Lala added, “So I’ve just been staying away from all that stuff because I live a really amazing, amazing life.”
Trying to reflect on the positive, she said, “I feel really happy about all of the changes that I’ve made in my world to get to where I am, and I’m really proud of the success that I’ve gained on my own with many, many years of hard work and I just want to relish in that.”
“I love Bravo and I love NBCU, and I love Vanderpump Rules and I love all of you guys. But this is a really important time in my life, and I will be damned if anybody tarnishes or gives me memories of it not being a beautiful time in my life.”
Vanderpump Rules continues Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
