Kyle Richards is reportedly ready to put an end to her decades-long marriage to Mauricio Umansky after he was spotted kissing 33-year-old model and actress Nikita Kahn earlier this month in Mykonos, Greece.
While the 55-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has yet to address Mauricio’s new romance publicly (although she did remove “wife” from her Instagram bio), she has allegedly reached her breaking point with Mauricio, 54, and wants to call it quits sooner rather than later.
“She is more than ready to divorce Mauricio,” an insider told Life & Style on July 30. “She’s ready to take him to the cleaners!”
As RHOBH fans may know, Kyle and Mauricio didn’t sign a prenup when they wed in 1996 because Mauricio hadn’t yet established himself as the real estate mogul he is today.
“Kyle’s been there from the very beginning. She propped Mauricio up all these years, and now she’s ready to take him down a few notches,” the source added, noting that Mauricio is said to be worth a whopping $100 million.
Although Kyle has remained tight-lipped about Mauricio and Nikita, her older sister, Kathy Hilton, 65, spoke to Page Six after photos of Mauricio and Nikita were first shared.
“I think it was a hard pill to swallow,” she admitted. “So, what I’m trying to do is just kind of calm her down a bit. ‘You know this was bound to happen. You’ve been separated.’”
Kathy then spoke to Entertainment Tonight.
“Eventually it was gonna happen, and I think it’s very difficult to see,” she stated. “I was concerned about her, but I spent the whole day with her that day.”
“[I] was really more concerned with how [their daughters] were gonna take it,” she added, signaling Alexia Umansky, 28, Sophia Umansky, 24, and Portia Umansky, 16, and Mauricio’s step-daughter, Farrah Aldjufrie, 35.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 is currently in production and expected to begin airing on Bravo later this year or early next year.
